No, Z8 is only used to treat insomnia (sleeplessness) not anxiety. The reason behind this is that Z8 has only mild anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) property which is not helpful in treating anxiety.

Can I take Z8 with Benadryl?

Yes Z8 can be taken with Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Benadryl does not appear to interfere with the efficacy of Z8. Hence, it is alright to take them together. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug do not hesitate to inform your doctor.

Does Z8 cause headache?

Rarely, Z8 causes a headache. It is an uncommon side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, consider taking a mild painkiller, apply balm and take rest even after this if the pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.

How to take Z8?

Take one tablet of Z8 at bedtime or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, oral Z8 should be taken empty stomach because the presence of food might affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach. Precautions must be taken in patients with obstructive sleep apnoea, myasthenia gravis, and compromised respiratory function.
