Biomet N is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Cream. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Asthma, Nonallergic Rhinitis, Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Biomet N has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

This is because a long-term use of Biomet N can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Biomet N works by suppressing body's normal immune response to inflammation which is responsible for symptoms such as swelling, redness and itching. This results in decreased inflammation and provides relief from the symptoms associated with it.
