Clovate GN should be applied 1 - 2 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Clovate GN should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it disappears. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug.

However, certain side effects have been associated with this drug such as skin atrophy (skin thinning), burning or stinging sensation of the skin. Clovate GN contains clobetasol which is presumed to work by promoting the induction of inhibitory proteins (lipocortins) in the body.
