Efetran Information

Efetran is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule. Muscle Pain, Toothache, Rheumatic Pain are some of its major therapeutic uses. Secondary and off-label uses of Efetran have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Efetran depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Is Efetran safe?

Yes, Efetran is safe to use, if taken in a prescribed amount for a specified time as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects have been observed such as epigastric pain (stomach pain), nausea, headache, dizziness, rashes, gastric ulceration, and bleeding are less common.

Can Efetran be given in dengue?

No, Efetran should not be taken in Dengue because it can increase the risk of internal bleeding. Patients should consult a medical professional, take ample rest and drink plenty of fluids. However, paracetamol can be taken to bring down fever and reduce joint aches.
