Yes, Omniderm can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Omniderm with a certain antibiotic (Clarithromycin) can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Yes, Omniderm can cause stomach upset. It is a common side effect of this drug but the exact reason of stomach cramp is not known. Please inform your doctor if you are experiencing stomach upset after taking this medicine.
Omniderm comes as a tablet and solution and it should be taken by mouth once daily or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension (BP), ulcerative colitis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes, and peptic ulcer. Your doctor may tell you to follow low-salt, potassium-rich, or high-protein diet if you are taking Omniderm. A topical form of this drug (Cream, Ointment) should be applied gently on affected area 1 - 2 times daily as directed by the doctor.
