How does P Dox work?

P Dox contains doxofylline which is a bronchodilator. It works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase enzyme that causes smooth muscle relaxation. This results in breathing easily during COPD and bronchial asthma. It has also an anti-inflammatory activity which exerts by reducing pleurisy (inflammation of pleura of lungs) induced by the inflammatory mediator. Hence in this way, P Dox provides relief to the patients from bronchospasm and breathing trouble in respiratory disorders.
