      Question about 2 years ago

      How does Pentalab work?

Dr. Vinod Verma MBBS , Diabetology

Pentalab contains pentazocine which is an opioid analgesic (pain-killer). It is presumed that pentazocine provides relief from pain by binding to certain receptors (mu-opioid receptors) in our brain and by preventing the reuptake of chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) serotonin and norepinephrine. In this way Pentalab provides relief to the patient from moderate to severe pain.
