Pioglar

Pioglar, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Diabetes Type 2 are some of its major therapeutic uses. Pioglar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Pioglar is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Pioglar are Headache, Muscle Ache. While these are the most often observed Pioglar side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Pioglar go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Pioglar has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Pioglar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Pioglar related warnings section.

Pioglar is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Bladder Cancer, Diabetes Type 1 as it can result in adverse effects. Some other conditions that can be affected by Pioglar are listed in the contraindications section below.
