Remtrex Information

Remtrex is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection, Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Lymphoma. Other than this, Remtrex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The correct dosage of Remtrex depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Common side effects of Remtrex include Abdominal Pain. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Remtrex as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Remtrex go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Does Remtrex cause anemia?

Yes, Remtrex may cause anemia, this occurs only in a few cases. It is a rare side effect of this drug. It occurs due to bone marrow suppression which might cause anemia (low red blood cells count), leukopenia (low white blood cells count), thrombocytopenia (low platelets count), and pancytopenia (low red cells, white cells, and platelets). However, this effect is reversible in nature and the function of bone marrow is restored after discontinuation of this drug.
