Spasmodex is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Abdominal Pain, Stomach Pain. Other than this, Spasmodex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
The optimal dosage of Spasmodex is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Spasmodex also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Dry Mouth, Blurred vision. These side effects of Spasmodex are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Spasmodex is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. It is important to know if Spasmodex has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Spasmodex related warnings section.
Spasmodex is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Liver Disease, Stomach Disease, Alcoholism are examples of such conditions. Some other conditions that can be affected by Spasmodex are listed in the contraindications section below.
