Yes, Staxom can be taken with paracetamol. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take Staxom along with paracetamol if it does not exceed the recommended dosage.
Discontinuing Staxom on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Yes, Staxom can be used for UTI (urinary tract infection) caused by bacteria Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. However, it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
The dosage of this drug may vary depending on the type of infection and severity of the infection. Usually, oral Staxom is recommended to be taken once daily or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without the food because food does not affect the absorption of this drug. Precautions must be taken in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, heart diseases, diabetes mellitus, and improper liver or kidney function.
