Oral tablet and suspension of Drotapil should be taken by mouth three times daily or as advised by your doctor. Drotapil can be taken with or without food because food does not affect the absorption drug from the stomach. Precautions must be taken in patients with cardiac dysfunction and improper kidney or liver function.

Can Drotapil cause vertigo?

Rarely, Drotapil causes vertigo which is the sensation of spinning and dizziness. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of vertigo is unknown. If you experience vertigo after taking this drug then sit down and take rest for a while till this effect subsides.
