Yes, oral Isac causes dry mouth because it decreases the saliva secretion in your mouth. It is a common side effect of this drug. If you experience severe dry mouth after taking this drug, keep yourself hydrated with juices, shakes and ample water.
Tablet and capsule should be taken by mouth with food once daily or as advised by your doctor. Cream should be applied to the affected area. After applying it gently rub the cream till it is fully absorbed, then wash your hands. Precautions must be taken in patients with anorexia nervosa, depression, history of photoallergy, and improper kidney function.
