Does Ryloric lower the blood pressure?

No, Ryloric does not lower the blood pressure (hypotension). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking Ryloric. It is not a known side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision (symptoms of low blood pressure) after taking this drug then try to sit down and take rest for a while till it subsides, also inform to the doctor without further delay.

How does Ryloric work?

Ryloric contains allopurinol that belongs to the class of drugs known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the xanthine oxidase enzyme (Responsible for uric acid production in our body) that lead to disruption in the biosynthesis of uric acid due to which its abnormally high levels are decreased in the body. The decreased levels of uric acid prevent the formation of uric acid crystals and calcium oxalate crystals. Hence, in this way, it prevents from gout.
