Alloric Information

Alloric is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Gout, High Uric Acid Levels in the Blood. Secondary and off-label uses of Alloric have also been mentioned below.

What is Alloric?

Alloric is a brand name of allopurinol and it comes in the form of a tablet (solid unit dosage form). It is an antigout agent that belongs to the class of drugs known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It is a prescription drug that is used in the treatment of gout (arthritis that causes intense pain and redness in the joints due to deposition of uric acid crystals). Apart from the treatment of gout Alloric is given in hyperuricemia and Chemotherapy-induced hyperuricemia (abnormally high levels of uric acid in the blood). It is also given in the treatment of kidney stones.
