Lupiclor works by increasing the rate of urine formation by inhibiting the sodium and potassium reabsorption in the kidney, this causes more frequent urination than normal. The increased flow of urination leads to a decrease in blood volume that helps in the relaxation of the walls of blood vessels and this results in a decrease in blood pressure.
