The Freenerve P can be used for the treatment of subacute herpetic neuralgia (pain that persists for 30 to 120 days following a rash by herpes zoster), glossopharyngeal neuralgia (extreme pain at the back of the tongue, throat or ears) and trigeminal neuralgia (extreme pain caused via trigeminal nerve from face to the brain).
The general recommended an oral dose of the Freenerve P is 1500 µg daily, divided into three doses. It is also available in other forms such as injectibles. Patients with critically low levels of methylcobalamin are often recommended by to take intramuscular injections to cover up for their deficiency.
Freenerve P works by forming myelin sheath which is used to cover and protect the nerve cells. Freenerve P is used to revive the nerve cells. In the absence of enough Freenerve P, myeline sheath doesn't form properly leading to nerve damage.
