Epinorm Information

Epinorm, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Syrup. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Nausea and Vomiting.

The optimal dosage of Epinorm is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Epinorm as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Epinorm go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

Apart from preventing nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy and radiation, Epinorm can be used in this population group for managing acute gastritis. Acute gastritis presents itself as a self-limited infection with vomiting leading to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. Always check with a child specialist and do not administer this drug yourself.
