Anbid is effective against a wide range of both gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as Moraxella catarrhalis, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus pneumoniae, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Yes, Anbid covers some anaerobes such as Peptococcus niger but most strains of Clostridium difficile and Bacteroides fragilis are generally found to be resistant to Anbid.
Yes, Anbid has been reported to cause diarrhea and it is the most common side effect of this medicine.
