No, Colbet alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Colbet is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Colbet should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Colbet and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
Colbet should be applied 1 - 2 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Colbet should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it disappears. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug.
