Patanjali Divya Ashwagandharishta is an Ayurvedic and Herbal medicine. It is available in liquid (syrup) form. This medication is manufactured by Patanjali.

Patanjali Divya Ashwagandharishta is used as a tonic for brain and nervous system. It is used for the treatment of psychiatric conditions, depression, dullness, loss of memory, and epilepsy. This medication contains relaxant as well as mind sedative action thus soothes the mind and nourishes the brain.

The major key ingredients present in Patanjali Divya Ashwagandharishta is ashwagandha, harad, and haldi. Here are the health benefits of each of these:

The botanical name of ashwagandha is Withania somnifera and it belongs to Solanaceae family. The most important chemical constituents of ashwagandha are alkaloids steroidal lactones. Withanine is the major chemical constituent of this drug. The steroidal lactone which is present in the leaves is known as withanolides. It also acts as the mood stabilizer that relaxes the mind and body.
Harad is also known as haritaki. The botanical name of harad is Terminalia chebula and it belongs to the Combretaceae family. It is very helpful in nervous weakness and promotes the power of sense.
Haridra is also known as turmeric, the botanical name of turmeric is Curcuma longa and it belongs to the Zingiberaceae family. curcumin is the main chemical constituent present in turmeric, it helps in relieving the symptoms of anxiety and depression by regulating the levels of dopamine.
