Etex contains ethamsylate. It is presumed that Etex works by increasing the endothelial resistance and promoting the platelet adhesion. It also prevents the biosynthesis of that prostaglandin which is responsible for platelet disaggregation, vasodilation, and capillary permeability. hence in this way, it prevents the excess loss of blood and works in the bleeding disorder.
