Gatifax Information

Gatifax is a prescription medicine that is available as a Drops. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Conjunctivitis. Other than this, Gatifax has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The right dosage of Gatifax depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Gatifax are Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. While these are the most often observed Gatifax side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Gatifax normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Gatifax's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Severe while nursing. In addition, Gatifax's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Gatifax related warnings section.

Individuals suffering from medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Brain and Nervous System, Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy) must refrain from the use of Gatifax since this can cause severe adverse effects. Other contraindications of Gatifax have been discussed in the sections ahead.

Gatifax Dosage & How to Take

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

    Gatifax may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Gatifax again without your doctor's advice.
