Yes, Ibulet Plus can cause weight gain. Weight gain is one of the adverse effects of taking it as it causes fluid retention or worsens the existing fluid retention. It is therefore important that if you notice these changes in your body and immediately speak to a doctor in case of an adverse reaction to Ibulet Plus. Do not use it for long-term until and unless recommended.

Ibulet Plus is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Ibulet Plus is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Ibulet Plus every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Ibulet Plus every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Ibulet Plus with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Ibulet Plus every day, remember to take it at the same time. Ibulet Plus is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Ibulet Plus, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Ibulet Plus as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.
