Take Miraz once a day preferably at bedtime. It can be taken with or without food because the presence of food does not affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach. Precautions must be taken in patients with mania, seizures, and improper liver function.

Does Miraz cause hair loss?

Yes, Miraz might cause hair loss (alopecia). It is an infrequent side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of hair loss is unknown. This effect is unharmful and reversible in nature. Generally, normal hair growth is restored after discontinuation of this drug.
