Yes, Monti help with bronchitis. Monti block the action of leukotriene which is responsible for narrowing the airways. By blocking the leukotriene Monti prevents the narrowing of airways.
Yes, Monti can be taken with amoxicillin. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking Monti along with amoxicillin then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
No, Monti does not raise blood pressure (hypertension). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug.
Take Monti once daily or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food because food does not affect the absorption of drugs from the stomach. For asthma Monti has to be taken preferably in the evening but for prevention of breathing difficulty during exercise, you should take medicine at least 2 hours before the exercise. However, if you taking Monti once on daily basis then you do not need to take an extra dose to prevent breathing difficulties before exercise.
Monti works by blocking the action of biologically active compounds (leukotrienes) which are responsible for narrowing and swelling of airways (bronchospasm) in the lungs and also causes allergic symptoms such as sneezing, stuffy, and runny nose. This provides relief to the patient from symptoms of allergic rhinitis and helps to prevent asthmatic attacks.
