Onmed Injection Information

Onmed Injection is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Nausea and Vomiting.

The optimal dosage of Onmed Injection is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Does Onmed cause drowsiness?

Yes, Onmed may cause drowsiness because this drug has been reported to induce sleep. Ensure you do not drive or do some high precision work. To avoid excessive drowsiness with this medicine you are encouraged to take adequate night-time sleep, keeping distractions out of the bedroom, going to sleep and getting up at consistent times, eating light at lunchtime, putting in some form of a physical activity, avoiding taking naps during the day, and avoiding alcohol at night.

How to take Onmed?

Onmed is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Onmed has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. The initial dose is usually taken half an hour before chemotherapy, 1 to 2 hours before radiation therapy and 1 hour before a surgery. Additional doses can be suggested by the doctor as per the individual requirements.

Does Onmed cause headache?

Yes, headache is one of the common side effects of Onmed. Apply balms and take a mild painkiller if a headache is of throbbing nature. Additionally, headaches can be prevented by doing yoga and meditation, by keeping away from electronic gadgets and computers, by eating light food and listening to relaxing music.
