Osonik Information

Osonik is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection, Tablet. Malaria are some of its major therapeutic uses.

The optimal dosage of Osonik is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

The side effects typically associated with Osonik include Headache, Nausea or vomiting. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Osonik can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Such side effects of Osonik normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Osonik Dosage & How to Take

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 1.2 mg/kg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 1 daily
  • Course Duration: 6 days
  • Special Instructions: Day first take 2.4 mg/Kg followed by 1.2 mg/Kg at 12 and 24 hours then 1.2 mg/Kg daily for 6 days.
Geriatric
  • Disease: Malaria
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 1.2 mg/kg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 1 daily
