Consuming Bionim (Alchemist) with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Bionim (Alchemist) is a brand name of nimesulide. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal Antiinflammatory Drugs). It has been used primarily for short-lasting painful inflammatory conditions like sports injuries, sinusitis, and other ear-nose-throat disorders, dental surgery, bursitis (Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac in the joints), lower backache, dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), post-operative pain, osteoarthritis and for fever.
Ideally Bionim (Alchemist) is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
Bionim (Alchemist) is an analgesic (painkiller) which relieves pain arising from the affected area by suppressing the cyclooxygenase 2 (increases the inflammatory response.)
Bionim (Alchemist) should not be taken when a person has been detected with dengue. This is because nimesulide may cause internal bleeding which can be fatal during dengue. To bring down fever in dengue patients, paracetamol can be given along with plenty of fluids such as soups, juices, and water. Along with taking precautionary measures mentioned above, seek medical advice right away in case of Dengue as negligence and low platelet counts may lead to fatal consequences. You are highly recommended to follow the doctor's instructions.
