No, Mixbiotic AC does not make the skin thinner. No known case has been found regarding skin thinning with Mixbiotic AC.
Mixbiotic AC should be applied topically (on the skin) and it can be taken orally. Topically, it is applied in sufficient quantity on the affected area two times in a day. Duration, of course, will vary according to antifungal infection.
Yes, Mixbiotic AC is safe to use, if taken in a prescribed amount for a specified time as advised by the dermatologist. However, few side effects are observed such as localized irritation with stinging and burning sensation.
Mixbiotic AC inhibit the fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14- demethylase and thus block ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus. It kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane.
