    Pentaxim is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. The alternative uses of Pentaxim have also been explained below.

    The optimal dosage of Pentaxim is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage.     Pentaxim Dosage & How to Take

    This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

    • Disease: Hemophilia B
    • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
    • Single Maximum Dose: 0.5 ml
    • Dosage Route: Parenteral

    • Special Instructions: First 3 doses be given 4 weeks apart 6, 10 and 14 weeks, a booster dose Vaccine can be given at the age of 15-18 months
