Yes Assault Novo is used to treat typhoid fever. If other antibiotics are resistance to salmonella typhi then it is very effective to treat typhoid fever. however, it is best to consult your doctor about the right treatment for typhoid fever.
Discontinuing Assault Novo on your own can increase the chances of bacterial resistance and infection relapse. It is recommended that you always consult your doctor if you have decided to discontinue this medicine.
Yes, Assault Novo is safe to use, if taken in the prescribed amount and duration as advised by the doctor. However, certain side effects have been associated with this drug such as stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, headache, difficulty in breathing, and constipation.
Assault Novo can be taken with doxycycline. No drug-drug interactions are reported between them. Doxycyclin also does not affect the absorption of this drug. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction could exist. Please consult your doctor, if you feel any complication after consuming these two medicines at the same time.
Assault Novo should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine.
