Topotec

Topotec is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Ovarian Cancer. The alternative uses of Topotec have also been explained below.

The optimal dosage of Topotec is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Topotec also has some side effects, the most common being Fatigue, Nausea or vomiting, Headache. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Topotec as well, which are listed below. Such side effects of Topotec normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Topotec is Severe for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Topotec's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Topotec related warnings section.

Topotec is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Anemia, Herpes, Lung Cancer as it can result in adverse effects.
