Litetone Information

Litetone is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Cream. Litetone also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The correct dosage of Litetone depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Litetone also has some side effects, the most common being Erythema, Skin irritation, Skin Burning. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Litetone can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. These side effects of Litetone are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Litetone has a Unknown effect for pregnant women and Unknown effect on lactating mothers. Litetone Dosage & How to Take

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Single Maximum Dose: Apply thin film on affected area.

  • Special Instructions: dose should be apply at least 30 minutes before bedtime, used in melasma

Can I use Litetone after chemical peel?

Yes, you can use Litetone after a chemical peel. Its help to prepare the skin for a chemical peel. Also, helps in the healing after a chemical peel. Before chemical peel, Litetone should be used twice daily evening and morning after Retina-A for 2 - 6 weeks. It helps to stop the synthesis of pigment in the skin and will help to prevent the skin from the darkening of your skin (hyperpigmentation) after the chemical peel.

Does Litetone treat burn?

No, Litetone does not treat the burn. It is used to treat lightening the dark skin. Burning sensation of skin is one of the side effects of this drug.
