Halidol

Halidol, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Schizophrenia. Secondary and off-label uses of Halidol have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Halidol depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Halidol can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Halidol go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Halidol has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Halidol's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Halidol related warnings section.
