Mirdep is a brand name of mirtazapine and it is available in the form of a tablet. It belongs to the class of drug known as antidepressants. It is a prescription drug which is used for the treatment of depression (major depressive disorder). It is used off-label for the treatment of insomnia (sleeplessness), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and hot flashes.
Rarely, Mirdep cause tinnitus (ringing in the ear). However, this effect is unharmful and temporary in nature and it goes away after discontinuation of this drug.
