Interaction between Alcohol and Atecard M
Consuming Atecard M with alcohol can have many serious effects on your body.
Atecard M is calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac cells which inhibits the contraction of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle and reduce electrical conduction within heart cell and dilate blood vessel. Dilation of the blood vessel reduces the blood pressure.
Yes, Atecard M can be taken with telmisartan. As per clinical studies, no harmful interaction has been reported after taking them. However, do not take it without doctors advise. A fixed-dose combination of Atecard M and telmisartan is available in the market which is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Yes, Atecard M does cause hair loss in some cases. If you are experiencing hair loss with this drug discuss with your doctor. Your doctor may prescribe alternative medicines to prevent further hair loss and promote hair growth.
No, Atecard M does not cause diabetes. It has not been reported to cause diabetes. However, Atecard M might increase your blood sugar levels slightly, healthy people can tolerate it easily while diabetic patients might face some spike in blood sugar levels.
