Kauvery Hospitals chain was established by Dr S. Chandra Kumar and Dr S Manivannan. The first hospital created in 1999 in Trichy was a 30-bedded facility. Kauvery Hospitals are multispeciality tertiary care healthcare hospitals with a total capacity of 1200 beds and over 3000 staff.

There are six Kauvery hospitals across Tamil Nadu, with 3 hospitals in Trichy and 1 each in Chennai, Hosur, and Salem. These six hospitals have over 300 specialist doctors in 50 specialities. 

It provides treatments in Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Urology and Critical care, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Endocrinology, Fertility, Oncology, Transplantation, Accidents, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Dental Maxillofacial, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 

The hospital group is equipped with diagnostic facilities including imaging services and an advanced path lab integrated with the 24x7 emergency services. 

Emergency services cases of acute airway, parenteral access management, trauma, poisoning, burns management and management of high-risk cases of surgery among others are also available in the chain.

The group has facilities for international patients including language support.
