Bactospar, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Bacterial Infections, Bronchitis are some of its major therapeutic uses. Bactospar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Bactospar. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Bactospar also has some side effects, the most common being Headache, Photosensitivity, Itching or burning. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Bactospar as well, which are listed below. These side effects of Bactospar are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Bactospar has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Severe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Bactospar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Bactospar related warnings section.
Bactospar can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Bactospar in conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Heart Disease. Other contraindications of Bactospar have been discussed in the sections ahead.
