Cefactam is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. Other than this, Cefactam has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Cefactam. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
Cefactam also has some side effects, the most common being Diarrhoea, Stomach Upset. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Cefactam can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Cefactam go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Cefactam is Safe for pregnant women and Safe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Cefactam's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Cefactam related warnings section.
