Gastron is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Heartburn. Secondary and off-label uses of Gastron have also been mentioned below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Gastron. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
Common side effects of Gastron include Diarrhoea, Headache, Nausea or vomiting. While these are the most often observed Gastron side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Gastron go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Gastron has a Severe effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers.
