No, Komela doesn't prolong periods. It may or may not shorten the duration of the period because it mainly reduces the blood loss during periods.

Komela is available in the form of an injection and tablet. Injection must be taken under the supervision of a doctor. The tablet should be taken orally or by mouth. Depending upon your condition, your doctor will suggest you a dosing schedule. It is important that you stick to this schedule. It can be taken with or without food. It should be taken at exactly the same time every day so that you don't miss the dose. If your bleeding doesn't reduce or gets worse, call your doctor immediately.

No, Komela does not cause constipation in patients who are taking it. However, if you are experiencing severe constipation after taking this drug then inform your doctor and take precautionary methods such as eating fibrous foods and drink plenty of water to avoid constipation.

Yes, Komela may cause allergy in rare cases. The symptoms could be rash, itching, extreme dizziness, swelling of the tongue, throat, and face, difficulty in breathing, etc. If you experience any of these symptoms, discontinue using Komela and talk to your doctor immediately.
