Interaction between Food and Liftaz
Taking Liftaz with food is safe.
Interaction between Alcohol and Liftaz
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Liftaz and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Discontinuing Liftaz in between may promote resistance to bacteria which may result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Liftaz is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting doctor. It can be harmful for people to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Liftaz does not help in preventing cold, because a common cold is a viral infection. However, the drug can help in bringing relief from symptoms of cold, if it is associated with a bacterial infection. To treat cold take ample rest, maintain proper hygiene, gargle with saline water and seek medical advice if common cold symptoms persist for more than 7-8 days.
Yes, Liftaz can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Liftaz and doxycycline can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
