Lizofit Information

Lizofit, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Infusion, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Pneumonia. Secondary and off-label uses of Lizofit have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Lizofit. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Lizofit is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is active against gram-positive bacteria and certain gram-negative bacteria. It works by preventing the protein synthesis in bacteria which are essential for it. The absence of these vital proteins results in stunned bacterial cell growth due to which bacteria become vulnerable and dies. Lizofit is effective against a wide range of gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus agalactiae, and Enterococcus faecium.

Does Lizofit cause fever?
