Onstart belongs to a class of compounds known as 5 -HT3 receptor antagonists. It blocks the action of serotonin completely at the 5-HT3 receptor sites present in our brain (vomiting centre) which provides relief to the patient from nausea and vomiting.
Onstart is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Onstart has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.
