No, Plaintar-CS alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Plaintar-CS is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Plaintar-CS should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Plaintar-CS and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
