Progynova Tablet contains estradiol. It is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring female sex hormone (estrogen) which is produced by the female ovaries. Progynova Tablet helps in the regulation of the menstrual cycle and it also helps in the development of puberty as well as secondary female sex characteristics. Due to some medical condition or aging, the ovaries are not able to produce estradiol whose deficiency affects the essential tasks which are fulfilled by it. Progynova Tablet works by restoring the normal levels of estradiol in the body which is required to complete these essential tasks.
