Yes, Terabet GM might cause dry skin in few cases only. However, the exact cause behind dry skin is unknown. If you are experiencing excessive dryness of skin after applying this drug then you are advised to use a skin moisturizer. Skin moisturizer should be applied only after 30 minutes of applying this drug so that the Terabet GM can be absorbed by the skin.
No, Terabet GM alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Terabet GM is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Terabet GM should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Terabet GM and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
Yes, Terabet GM might lighten skin because it causes skin atrophy (skin thinning) which reduces the darkness of the skin. However, Terabet GM is not approved for skin lightening and should not be used for this purpose because it can cause unpleasant side effects.
