Yes, Zyrova D3 has been reported to cause diarrhoea but this occurs in few cases only. It is a rare side effect of this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug, consult your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Zyrova D3 works by inhibiting an enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) which is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in our body, its inhibition results in increased levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and decreased levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) which lowers the risk of developing heart disease and helps in preventing strokes
Zyrova D3 comes in the form of a tablet and ideally, it should be taken by mouth once daily as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food at any time of the day. Precautions must be taken in patients with liver disease, diabetes, and hypothyroidism.
