It is an antifungal drug that is used to treat fungal infections such as tinea corporis (fungal infection of the skin or scalp known as ringworm), tinea cruris (fungal infection in the skin of the genitals known as Jock itch), tinea pedis (a fungal infection between the toes known as athlete's foot).

How to apply Seboket?

Seboket should be applied topically (on the skin) once daily for 2 - 6 weeks or as advised by a doctor. It should be applied after cleaning the affected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medicine on the affected area. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug. Over-the-counter ketoconazole shampoo is usually used every 3 to 4 days for up to 8 weeks after that use it as per the need.

How does Seboket work?

Seboket contains ketoconazole which works by blocking the ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus which is necessary for fungal cell membrane growth. Hence in this way, it kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane and treats the fungal infection.
